Lakeside's Western Days Parade

The Lakeside Historical Society's entry in the 2003 Western Days Parade held on April 26.  In the front were: driver Heather Parker, President Richard White; and riding in the back was Olga Puhn and Pat Ellwood.  The banner carriers were 5th grader's Brian Simmons and Dane Kufa, both members of the Lakeside Farms Elementary School's Peace Patrol.  The Belgian draft horse, "Prince," and buggy were complements of our newest Business Life Member, Carriages of San Diego.

Lasagna Night June 23rd
Richard White, Co-Pres.

All members, your neighbors, friends, relatives, and all their neighbors, friends and relatives, are invited to attend the Lakeside Historical Society's first annual Lasagna Night.  The dinner will be filled with delectable Italian delights from pasta to parmesan, and from garlic bread to garden salad.  Then to top it off, a genuine "lip-smakin'," "tummy-ticklin' " dessert.  After dinner will be special presentation on "The Women in Lakeside's History" by our very own Olga Puhn, which will be followed by a brief business meeting.  The proceeds are to benefit the new Lakeside Museum.
